BOLÍVAR MOURA ROCHA

Bolívar Moura Rocha is an attorney who assists clients with complex disputes and investigations, and with strategic business projects. Bolívar served previously with the Brazilian federal administration; among other positions, he was Deputy Minister of Development, Trade and Industry and Malan’s chief of staff at the Ministry of Finance. He was also a staff attorney with the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law in Lausanne. Moura Rocha graduated from São Paulo University Law School and holds a PhD in Political Science from Geneva University (Graduate Institute of International Studies).

PEDRO S. MALAN

Pedro Malan is an economist with large experience as member of boards of directors and advisory boards of companies from a wide range of industries, in Latin America, Europe and Asia. Malan was Brazil’s Minister of Finance, Governor of the Central Bank and Chief External Debt Negotiator. He was also Executive Director at the World Bank and at the Inter-American Development Bank, Director of the United Nations Centre of Transnational Corporations and Director of the UN Department of International Economic and Social Affairs.

Malan is a teacher of international economics. He contributes regularly to public debate on economic issues, in think tanks and as a columnist at O Estado de São Paulo. Malan graduated from the Polytechnic School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
